Read what people have to say about us and our dogs!!!

Just letting you know all is well with Stunadel Busa.
I have called her Katie and shes an absolute delight.
Eating well and growing daily.
We've already been on our first camping trip together into the mountains.
It was quite cold but Katie didn't notice as she insisted on the inside of my sleeping bag over her specially prepared bed.
She is quietly determined to have her way with most things.
Amazingly she was house trained just one week after arriving here and she already sits before meal time!  Thanks again for your excellent support and care.

"I bought Amicus from Stunadel Kennel sometime in May this year.  I had found the website through 'dogzonline' and saw they had a litter for sale.
The fact that I live in Victoria, I didn't have the chance to visit the kennel nor see the puppies prior the purchase.
Naturally, we were skeptical and unsure about buying a puppy online.  Then again, after numerous friendly emails with Stu and Nat, I thought I could really put my trust in them.

And they gave me the best puppy ever.

I had wanted a male puppy, and frankly, I thought I would only get just that, I didn't realize that being smart, friendly, playful, bold and loyal was part of the package.  But it was.  Amicus settled in his new home in only two days (albeit a little shaken after the long flight) and he was so bold and playful even with strangers.
I could safely say that Amicus is one of my most treasured things in life.
Thanks so much for bringing me a little angel!  (and a devil sometimes, but that's another story.)"

Wayne & Heather, Newcastle, NSW Australia

"Our 4 year old daughter had a couple of bad experiences that had left her absolutely terrified of anything canine.  We decided the best course of action was to get a puppy.  Wayne disliked German Shepherds intensely but agreed to "Have a look". We contacted Stunadel Kennels, explained our situation and organised a visit.  When we arrived we were taken down to where the puppies were but our two youngest children were too scared to pat even the 5 week old puppies.  Wayne, however was so impressed by the temperament and behaviour of the older dogs that he eventually decided a German Shepherd was the breed for us.   There was a 1 week old litter which we eventually decided on, as this would give us enough time to build a puppy pen (Nat's suggestion and one that we will be forever grateful for) and get Amy used to the idea of a puppy.  We visited regularly up until it was time to bring him home.  Nat & Stu decided on the pup for us and made a terrific choice.  Crajendo Brandon (Boston to his friends) joined our family in February 2001.  He's a terrific pet.  He loves kids and will play with them for hours.  His temperament is reliable and steady and we trust him implicitely.  When he's not romping with the girls, or wrestling with our teenage sons, he's laying quietly in the hallway or the lounge room, happy just to be close to us.
We cannot speak highly enough of Stu & Nat at Stunadel Kennels for their professionalism and caring attitude. We know that if ever we have a concern or query, they are only a phone call away and only too happy to help.  We highly recommend the kennel to anyone wishing to purchase a dog of excellent quality and sound temperament from breeders of the highest ethical standards."

T.W. Hughes, an American living in Thailand,
and the owner of one of your puppies that we know as Tabu (registered name: Stunadel Gelignite   2100073155):

First I never thought I would select a puppy overthe Internet.   There was never a question of wanting a German Shepherd--I have had GS’s all my life, but we wanted a long haired, female, black and tan purebred, and that’s all we wanted.  Well, that’s exactly what you provided and over the Internet yet!    Your puppy--our Tabu, is simply a great companion to both my wife and I.   Still, if you hadn’t been the type of people that I enjoyed communicating with over the Internet and if the photo’s of her mother--stunning female, hadn’t been so impressive, it would have been hard to make a final decision about selecting a GS over the Internet.    But your responses to my questions and concerns, the way you approached our “adoption”, and then the photo’s of Tabu as a puppy that you e-mailed us…well, the decision became surprisingly easy.

Tabu is 20 months old now--we got her when she was 3 months old and therefore old enough to export out of Australia.   She is a beautiful GS--and I would say that if she weren’t mine, but thankfully she is.   Smart, enjoys people and is particularly good with children (which I assure you she does not get from me), loves to play Frisbee, and loves the water like no other dog (of any breed) I have ever known--doesn’t matter if it is fresh water, salt water, or rain water as she loves it all.   She is confident but never aggressive.    She enjoys playing with other dogs, lives with 2 cats (peacefully enough but they know she is the boss), and loves to travel and go new places.   Friends welcome her into their homes, people yell hi to her when she passes by in the truck or on a walk, and it is rare indeed when I have to discipline her because she learned well and behaves very well all the time.

This is my wife’s first dog--not that a German Shepherd is a dog mind you, and my wife and Tabu are virtually inseparable and have been for sometime now.   Everyone is our town knows Tabu or knows of her--she has a good reputation, and we get compliments all the time from strangers about how pretty she is (and here in Thailand, how big as well). It is not an overstatement to say we have been blessed with this GS.   We are blessed--Tabu is a great companion and an important part of our lives. We are very thankful to you two for doing such a great job breeding her and assisting us in getting her exported to our home in Thailand--sight unseen no less.  I recommend you highly to one and all and without reservation of any kind.   As we say in the States, “You done good!”.

"My Stunadel pup turned out a dog who's good looks bring many admiring comments from friends, who's strength and stamina are a pleasure to see, and who's temperament is an assett to his breed.  We have a 1000 acres cattle stud, so our dogs must be well behaved.  Brock fits in well, and has always been a very "trainable" dog.  Thank you Natasha and Stuart - my boy is everything I wanted in a dog!"

"I have owned GSD's for over 20 years & been breeding, showing & training them for most of that time.   I'm a GSDL member.
For the last year or so I have been looking for a sound (type & most importantly temperament) bitch to introduce into my kennels.  I have got to know Stuart & Natasha quite well over the last couple of years, am very comfortable with the temperaments of their stock  & now have "Stunadel Lush" (Lush) whom I own in partnership with them.
Lush is a lovely, medium sized pup with a very outgoing temperament and was selected, in consultation with Stuart & Natasha,  particularly to be a potential show/brood bitch.  Although she is still young , they have offered sound advice, made constructive comments and are guiding me with the specifics of training for the specialty ring."

What would I tell a potential customer about our boy?

I'd say I found him on an website that a friend sent to me, as she knew we'd been looking for the 'right' dog for five months since we lost our old dog.  We were keen to buy an older puppy because we both work long days and were concerned that we might not have time to house-train a young puppy.  As our dogs are part of the family and live inside with us, house-training is essential!

Even though he'd lived in a kennel until we brought him home, Cal fitted in from the first minute.  It took a while for him to accept that he would have to share the spot in front of the fire with two cats, but he's a quick learner so the cats survived, as did Cal, with no injuries.  He's very much a 'people person', and is so affectionate that visitors can find him a bit overwhelming.  It would never occur to Cal that some people find him intimidating!  He is assertive by nature, but not aggressive, which is just what we wanted.  He also loves a game, and will play for hours with our little foxie cross.  He fetches sticks, takes himself swimming in our dams, and happily accompanies us on long horse-rides.

Could we have found a better dog?  I think not.  Our last Shepherd was 'the best dog in the world', so Cal had big 'shoes' to fill.  I can't believe how much he is like our old dog, yet he is still very much an individual.  He has filled the gap in our family from day one, and we love him to death!  We're very glad that Cal exhibited no interest in the show-ring, which led you to look for a non-show home such as ours.  His even temperament and relaxed nature are a great advertisement for your stud lines and if we were looking for another dog in the future, we'd start by contacting you again!
